The USS Cole (DDG-67) guided missile destroyer arrived off the coast of Lebanon on Feb. 28. The move comes as Syria faces less pressure from several parties, since it has already struck a deal that will end Shawkat’s crisis, in the murder investigations. A single warship off the Lebanese coast does not pose any military threat to Syria, and the United States likely is not trying to provoke Damascus into a military confrontation.... nor is it trying to confiscate any assets for the Assads and Makhloufs in USA or anywhere. The United States has sent the guided missile destroyer USS Cole (DDG-67) to the coast of Lebanon as a “show of support” for regional stability, a senior U.S. official said Feb. 28. The official said the warship left Malta on Feb. 25 and was headed toward Lebanon, adding that it will not be within visible range of the country.... for now. The Cole participated in combat operational maneuvers in the Azores recently, in coordination with Israeli forces, in preparation for a rematch in South Lebanon soon...
The move comes as Syria is not facing any mounting pressure from any fronts to strike a deal over Lebanon that will ease the country out of its political crisis. Sending a single warship to the Lebanese coast, however, does not pose a direct military threat to Syria, and the United States is highly unlikely to bring Damascus into a military confrontation at this stage, because USA, ISRAEL And Syria have already struck a DEAL, which translated into the Murder of Imad Moughnieh,by Assef Shawkat's goons, as a first installment, and protection for the Syrian Killer Regime...
Instead, the Cole is meant to send a signal to Hezbollah not be sitting too comfortably. Last week, US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice's pressure on Israel "to honor peace obligations" fell on deaf ears and as far as Israel is concerned the so-called "Annapolis roadmap" - to have a Palestinian state with east Jerusalem as its capital - is a sideshow to a sideshow, with the central focus on the "Iran threat", just as it was on the "Iraq threat" a mere few years ago.

Although the US government has conclusively found no evidence of such connections, the various pro-Israel pundits who excelled in their assignment to propagate that false image, refuse to acknowledge their error, let alone recant.
Chief among the latter is an Israeli-turned-US citizen, Laurie Mylroie, who was given free access to the US media as a "terrorism expert" prior to the US's invasion of Iraq, advertising her book on Saddam and September 11, time and again repeating the line that the September 11 attacks "had to be sponsored by a state", that is, Iraq.
In compensation for a job well done, Mylroie landed a full professorship at a US university, despite the fully questionable and empirically refuted nature of her unfounded allegations against Saddam. This time, however, with the stakes on Iran relatively higher, the discrete charm of the affable Livni is fully required to pave the way for another disastrous war in the Middle East, since Israel is incapable of peace with the Palestinians and is in dire need of other pretexts to channel public attention away from its oppressive policies against the Palestinian people.
This is reflected in the Israeli government's blunt announcement of a new settlement in the West Bank, timed with Rice's visit, which must have surely sent a signal that no matter how it may be interpreted as a provocation that belies the peace process, Israel's policy of annexation and confiscation of Palestinian lands will continue unabated.
But not everything proceeds according to Israel's wishes, given the United Nations' recent condemnation of Israel's "excessive force" against the Palestinians in Gaza. Much as Livni and other Israeli officials hope otherwise, there is a limit to the gullibility of US public, who are averse toward another costly US "proxy war" on Israel's behalf. Meanwhile, amid new US allegations of Iranian subversive activities in Iraq, a fourth round of US-Iran talks has been postponed and, per an informed Iranian analyst, that is simply because the US does not want to negotiate with Iran from the position of weakness since Tehran has gained much as a result of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's recent trip to Baghdad. "The US should make a strategic adjustment with Iran or continue with its cold war crusade that is dysfunctional because Iran and the US have common interests in the region," the analyst insisted.

6 ـ لماذا عاد الكاردينال صفير إلى تغطية الفئة المسيحية الموالية للحريرية بعد موقفه الشهير لدى تطبيق قانون غازي كنعان الانتخابي؟. 7 ـ لماذا يقوم الكاردينال صفير بمهاجمة المعارضة المسيحية بشكل شبه دائم بينما لا يحرّك ساكناً عن رفض جعجع ــــــ الجميل لقانون 1960 الانتخابي الذي أيّده مراراً، وهل بات سيد بكركي ومسيحيوه المفضّلون خط دفاع عن المشروع الحريري، إلى حد إعلان جعجع جهاراً رفض قانون 1960 بحجة أنه ليس لمصلحة المسيحيين وعدّد الأسباب التالية: أ ـ رفض إبقاء قضائي بعلبك والهرمل دائرة واحدة (مع العلم أن كلّاً من القضاءين يمثّل منفرداً أو متّحداً غالبية شيعية جارفة). ب ـ رفض إبقاء قضاءي مرجعيون وحاصبيا دائرة واحدة (مع العلم أن ضم القضاءين في دائرة واحدة يجعل من المسيحيين في حال تحالفهم مع سنّة الشريط الحدودي وحلفاء جعجع الدروز أغلبية راجحة). ولكن مهلاً، الغاية من رفض القانون من جانب جعجع ومسيحيي الحريري ليست بخافية على جاهل فهي: أولاً: الخوف على مسيحيي السلطة في أقضية زغرتا ـــــ الكورة والبترون حيث للمعارضة المسيحية أرجحية كبيرة. ثانياً: الخوف على وليد جنبلاط وتحجيمه في الجبل الدرزي حيث سيخسر حتماً قضاء بعبدا حيث الأرجحية للمعارضة. ثالثاً: الخوف على الحليف السني في بيروت، حيث إن تقسيم العاصمة إلى 3 دوائر سيفقد سيطرة السنّة الكاملة على المناطق المسيحية والشيعية من العاصمة.

WMR has learned of additional pressure being brought to bear by Syria's enigmatic military intelligence service, led by Syrian President Bashar al Assad's brother-in-law Assef Shawkat, on Lebanese Hezbollah.
Yesterday, WMR reported on Shawkat's role in eliminating Hezbollah military commander Imad Mughniyeh with a car bomb in Damascus. The role of Asef Shawkat's covert operatives has been evident since the January 24, 2002 car bombing in Beirut of Lebanese Member of Parliament, ex-Minister and Popular Christian political leader Mr. Elie Hobeika. The car bombings by Shawkat's operatives gave critical plausible deniability to the CIA and Mossad. Hobeika was, according to our intelligence sources, aware of the links between The Club, Assef Shawqat, Iran, the United States, and Israel,and much much more...
Lebanon has not been responsive to the Bush Administration. The Club is nearly at its wits end and is becoming aggressive, according to many Staff Member at the US Senate Intelligence Committee.... and various Intelligence sources in Europe and the USA....
That knowledge, and the fact mentioned in earlier intelligence reports, that he adamantly refused offers, inducing him to join this covert US strategy , since the latter part of the 1990s, and because it is a given, for people "in the know", that had he been alive today, he would be able to decipher with great ease, all these covert links, was considered dangerous in some circles in Damascus, Jerusalem, and Washington... WMR has also learned from our Middle East sources that the capture by the French Direction de la Surveillance du Territoire (DST) of a Hezbollah cell in France and the simultaneous rolling up of another Hezbollah cell in Morocco by Moroccan intelligence, came as a result of information provided directly by Shawkat. Apparently, Shawkat wanted to warn Hezbollah against retaliation for the Mughniyah assassination.
The ploy to send a warning to Hezbollah from Damascus had its limits. A French security and intelligence delegation from France is due in Beirut today to work out a quiet deal on the capture of the Hezbollah cell in France, and the Hezbollah cell in Morocco has not been charged with any crimes. However, it is clear that Hezbollah is being warned that its operations can be contained with the help of Syria and, to a lesser extent, Iran.
As far as Iran's discrete ties to Israel are concerned, WMR has learned from Middle East sources that Iran's former top nuclear negotiator, Ali Larijani, is a descendant of one of Tehran's wealthiest Jewish merchant families. Larijani remains a member of the Iranian National Security Council and is a top adviser to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
These familial religious links and pasts are not lost on Israeli leaders. Israel's former President, Moshe Katsav, forced from office over sexual assault allegations from female staffers, is an ethnic Iranian. On September 25, 2006, WMR reported, "Moshe Katsav, an Iranian Yazdi Jew, is said to have an important direct link to former Iranian President Mohamed Khatami. One of Katsav's cousins studied with Khatami at Tehran University."
Such old religious ties are not merely limited to Iran. A top Saudi journalist told this editor that many people in Saudi Arabia are well aware that the present ruling Saud ruling family are descendants of a Jewish merchant family from Basra, in present-day Iraq. Their ancestor is Mordakhai bin Ibrahim bin Moshe, who changed his name to Markhan bin Ibrahim Musa. One of Markhan's sons was named Saud, an ancestor of the ruling Saud family. There have been and remain close and discrete links between Israeli and Saudi intelligence, as well as quiet financial and other commercial ties between the two nations.

Reality paints a much different picture of Middle East covert operations.
Director of National Intelligence Mike McConnell tipped his hand just a bit when he recently opined that Syria may have been responsible for the February 12 car bombing in Damascus of Hezbollah military commander Imad Mughniyeh. McConnell, according to WMR's Middle East Intelligence sources, provided only a small part of the ntelligence cooperation that actually occurs in the Middle East between factions from the Syrians, Iranians, Israelis, and Americans.
It is becoming apparent that the head of Syrian military intelligence, Assef Shawqat, and a group of his operatives in Syria and Lebanon have been carrying out a number of car bombings, including that of Mughniyeh and Lebanese politicians, in order to provide "plausible deniability" and a firewall between Syria and the Israelis and Americans. This whole Covert effort started in earnest with the Assassination of Mr. Elie Hobeika, January 24th 2002. Mr. Hobeika was closest to this group, earlier in his career, hence it was decided to take him out of the picture first, because he adamantly refused offers to induce him to join this whole strategy anew, since the latter part of the 1990s, and because it is a given, for people "in the know", that had he been alive today, he would be able to decipher all these covert links with exact details, names, and more...! Significantly, Shawkat is the brother-in-law of Syrian President Bashar al Assad.
WMR's sources report that "a faction" within the Iranian military decided to help the Shawkat faction take out Mughniyeh in order to avoid an outbreak of war between Hezbollah and Israel in south Lebanon and a possible concurrent "shock and awe" US air strike on Iran. Hezbollah's operational command maintains close links with the Iranian embassies in Syria and Lebanon. In addition, Hezbollah's Special Security Apparatus is provided with weapons, military training, and money by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and the Al Qods force of the IRGC.
Shawkat has maintained close ties with the CIA, providing the agency with extraordinary rendition prisons and torture rooms for individuals grabbed by CIA operatives around the world, including Canadian citizen Maher Arar, a native of Syria. In September 2006, a Canadian Commission of Inquiry concluded that Arar, who was kidnapped while transiting JFK Airport in New York, was tortured by Syrian military intelligence. The report stated that Shawkat's service tortured Arar "while interrogating him during the period he was held incommunicado at the SMI’s [Syrian Military Intelligence's] Palestine Branch facility.”
After the car bomb hit on Mughniyah in Damascus, Shawkat's intelligence operatives ensured that the scene of the bombing was completely cleansed by first light the next morning. The only signs that the bombing had occurred were some black marks on the street and some minor damage to adjacent walls.
What is lost on the Western media is that there are covert channels between Israeli, Syrian, and Iranian intelligence. The Secretary of the conservative Islamic Coalition Society and close friend of Ayatollah Ali Khamanei is Habibollah Asgaroladi, a radical Muslim who rejected attempts by former President Mohammad Khatami to improve relations with the United States. Khatami's entreaties were also rejected by the neocons in the George W. Bush administration.
Asgaroladi is a member of the Expediency Council, an influential advisory group in the country chaired by former President Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani who was the main Iranian interlocutor between the Americans and Israelis in the Iran-contra scandal during the Reagan-Bush administration in the 1980s. More noteworthy is the fact that Asgaroladi, counted as one of Iran's richest men, converted to Islam from Judaism during the time of the Shah's reign.
According to WMR's Iranian sources, beyond his radical rhetoric, Asgaroladi serves as an important back channel to Israel, especially in matters of trade matters. Asgaroladi's position in Iran has been likened by WMR's Middle East sources to the large number of Turkish leaders whose families converted from Judaism to Islam before and after the Turkish secular revolution of Kemal Ataturk. In fact, knowledgeable Turkish sources report that Ataturk, himself, was one such convert. These Turkish leaders provide much of the support for close Turkish-Israeli relations, including military and intelligence links.
Our Middle East intelligence sources report that the Syrians, Israelis, and Iranians prefer that U.S. intelligence remain largely ignorant of "some covert" and "subtle links" between Israel, the minority Alawite Muslim regime in Damascus, and factions within the mullahs in Tehran. Bush's strangest Syrian bedfellow: Assef Shawkat, Head of Syria's Military Intelligence... At center of suspicion in Hezbollah leader's car bombing.... of America's "Most Wanted" Imad F. Mugniyah. The head of Syrian military intelligence, Assef Shawkat, is no stranger to working with the CIA. Syria has, since 9/11, served as a host for the torture of "extraordinarily renditioned" prisoners captured by the CIA. Shawkat has been at the center of the CIA's program.
WMR has learned from reliable sources that the car bombing in Damascus of Hezbollah military commander Imad Mugniyah on February 12 was carried out by Shawkat with the active encouragement and support of Deputy National Security Adviser Elliott Abrams and Israel's Mossad. WMR has reported in the past that Abrams is the coordinator within the Bush White House of political assassinations, particularly those in the Middle East, and specifically, similar car bombing assassinations in Lebanon. WMR has also previously reported that many of the car bombings in Lebanon were the result of coordination between Israeli, American, and Syrian operatives, including "rogue" Syrians and Lebanese agents in the employ of Assef Shawkat.
Mugniyah was wanted by the United States and Israel for a number of terrorist attacks in the 1980s and 1990s, including the 1983 bombings of the US Embassy and Marine Barracks in Beirut, the 1985 hijacking of an Athens-to-Rome TWA flight in which Navy diver Robert Stethem was murdered, and the kidnapping and murder of Beirut CIA station chief William F. Buckley in 1984 and Marine Corps Lt. Col. William Higgins in 1988.
Significantly, the Israeli Prime Minister's office has denied any role in Imad Fayez Mughniyeh's assassination. However, Israeli government and intelligence officials are happy that it occurred.
Mugniyah's car exploded at around 10:45 pm in the up-market Tantheem Kafer Souseh neighborhood of Damascus. WMR has learned that the car bombing of Mugniyah was to be timed with the February 9th birthday of President Ronald Reagan, a gesture by Shawkat to the Americans, but the specially designed Mitsubishi seats containing the bombs were installed, or "activated..." later... due to "Political calculations... ", linked to the Intelligence "aims" sought....and security Concerns..., resulting in the February 12th assassination, a timing quite reminiscent for Assef Shawkat and his brutal "Henchmen".... [ Assef's last "promotion" dates to February 13th 2005...]

The car, a new Mitsubishi Pajero SUV, was badly damaged in the attack "like a shredded metal can," according to Housham Nasaiseh", 19, who works in a sweetshop nearby, and arrived at the scene a few minutes after the explosion. At least nine other cars were also damaged. All this was done without leaving a trace..... That's also, Assef Shawkat.... By this morning, the car had been towed away. The scene had been cleared, and the only signs of the attack were a black mark on the ground and damage to nearby buildings....reminiscent of the car bomb attack on Mr. Elie Hobeika in Hazmieh Lebanon, January 24th 2002, 9.40 AM, when the whole area was "washed away" within a couple of hours from the attack, on orders from Syrian Military Intelligence.... None of the red lines established in Lebanese politics since the end of the Civil War is inviolable. In the present stalemate, Lebanon has one of two choices: to go the way of Balkanization or to restructure the political system away from the rickety sectarian balance it has tried to live by since the 1926 constitution and the 1943 National Pact, and that's the Legacy of Mr. Elie Hobeika, assassinated Leader, founder and President of the Party : Wa3d, or Wa3ed, a National Hero to all Lebanese today. Mr. Hobeika attempted all his life and thrived to change this sectarian formula, which brought death, destruction and disaster to Lebanon for decades. His unparalleled Legacy is that he never stopped trying despite ALL odds... he followed his determination, conviction and deep desire of change in the Lebanon he loved so much, till the last drop of blood in his veins....and that's an example to follow for the new generations to come.
For centuries, Lebanon has been ruled by feudal warlords that turned into statesmen as the Ottoman Empire declined and the country gained statehood under French mandate. Like the Balkans, Lebanon has a blood-stained history of inter-ethnic rivalry and cleansing. In this historical context, everyone persecuted and killed everyone else: the Druze massacred the Maronites, the Maronites killed the Muslims, and the Palestinians, and the Sunni and Shia Muslims, fought and killed each other as recently as the Lebanese Civil War of 1975-1989.
Lebanese politicians have learned to pawn off the country's security to foreign powers as the best guarantee of protecting conflicting sectarian interests. This has equally been a colonialist legacy. When, in 1840, the British became wary of the expansionist policy and influence of Mohamed Ali Pasha, the Viceroy of the Ottoman Sultan in Egypt, they decided to dislodge his son Ibrahim Pasha from Syria and Lebanon, which he had conquered earlier. They wooed local chieftains and rulers with money and privileges to rebel against Egyptian rule in favor of British protection in the name of the Ottoman sultan. The tradition of foreign intervention was carried on. A century later, President Camille Chamoun appealed in 1958 to US President Dwight D Eisenhower to help save his presidency from an imminent civil conflict. Eisenhower promptly sent the Sixth Fleet to salvage Chamoun's presidency. The interventionist policy of the US's Reagan administration. Lebanon's history of domestic sectarian rivalries, shifting alliances, regional power struggles, reconciliation and tribal allegiances explain only partly the present French-led diplomatic grass-hopping by all sorts of envoys all over Beirut in the past few months. Short of solving the political logjam, it only served as a reminder that Lebanon is open space to all kinds of interests and interventions. US President George W Bush has thrown in his hat, suggesting that the president of Lebanon be elected by a simple majority (50 plus one). Prime Minister Fouad Al-Siniora immediately obliged by calling for the amendment of the country's constitution to designate the army chief as president-candidate, but also to put the opposition on the spot.
Lebanon is trying to survive as a modern, pluralistic, pro-Western democracy dressed in a mediaeval, sectarian straightjacket. In times of crisis, sectarian balance ensures immobility. If the balance is tipped one way or the other, a car bomb sends a clear message to political master-minds. This is the one, unlearned lesson of the Lebanese Civil War that was recognized by the Taif Accord of 1989. It called for the eradication of political sectarianism as a matter of national priority. This is usually overlooked when Western political leaders express their views on the situation in Lebanon. They see it as a backyard arena for shadow-boxing Iran and Syria. When they call up UN Security Council Resolution 1559, which endorsed the Taif Accord, they only recall the provision for disarming "all militias"-- all meaning Hizbullah, which single-handedly beat back Israeli incursion into Lebanon in the summer months of 2006. In the old colonial mentality, Western powers support their allies as a way of ensuring their political interests rather than the security and stability of Lebanon per se. And the West's Lebanese allies are more interested in safeguarding their time-honored heritage of feudal privileges and associated political power against the dynamics of change.
Among these dynamics is the demographic change that has enhanced the numerical power of the Shia population. The marginalized Lebanese Shia, who suffered during the Civil War and were again the main target of Israeli heavy bombing raids during the 2006 incursion, are no longer satisfied with the role of the sacrificial lamb. They are posting their claim to power-sharing as a 20th century populist concept not exclusively derived from feudal privilege. How to reconcile this concept with an obsolete political system that dons the mantle of a modern- day democracy is Lebanon's dilemma.
Lebanon's complex domestic situation is exacerbated by regional politics and international relations. Leaders of Lebanese sectarian factions are travelling back and forth to countries of influence to seek support against their opponents. Likewise, senior envoys of allied countries are paying endless mediation visits to Beirut. Arab leaders are on the phone with each other and with Lebanese political leaders every other day. And the Arab League is inactively seized with the situation -- all leading to no breakthrough. However, it is also a useful reminder that foreign intervention -- for which there is ample space in Lebanon -- only serves to complicate the situation. An eerie calm has settled on Beirut after the tragic assassination of Brigadier Al-Hajj. It might be that calm is what the Lebanese need most, without foreign counseling or intervention, in order to sort out their painful predicament and build an all- party consensus. They could serve their collective interest if they go back to the Taif Accord and agree on a schedule to implement all its provisions, including national reconciliation, building a non-sectarian political system and disbanding all the militias, including Walid Jumblatt's, the Phalangists' and half a dozen other ragtag feudal armies, but not Hizbullah, a Heroic Resistance
The Lebanese truly love their country, their culture, their tradition, their Lebanon. That is, everyone loves his/her Lebanon and will fight to maintain the status quo of a sectarian coalition that is propped up on stilts. However, Lebanon looks different if you are looking up to Jabel Chouf from the heart of Beirut, or looking down from Beit-el-din on southern Beirut and the Hamra district. The Lebanese people's only hope is to look at the whole of Lebanon with only one pair of unsquinted eyes. The Lebanese government is willing to agree to a veto-wielding one-third in the cabinet. Without such an agreement, the opposition says there will be no government or president in Lebanon. The "preventive" or "decisive" one-third is a key concept to understanding the political crisis in Lebanon. According to the Lebanese constitution, only a majority of two-thirds in the cabinet can pass significant decisions. This means that whoever holds one-third plus one in the cabinet can prevent any such decisions. For example, a peace agreement with Israel, the establishment of a tribunal to try the CIA/MOSSAD/Assef Shawkat murderer of former minister Mr. Elie Hobeika,and other murders... Syria's position in Lebanon, how the budget will be divided, and dozens of other issues. The Lebanese government is steadfast in its willingness to acquiesce to the opposition's demand because it means a loss of control of the country. But for at least the past year, the Lebanese government has not been able to make policy in any case, because it is composed of weak traitors, thieves and agents of the US/Israeli machinations Lebanon has nothing important to tell the Israeli public on any issue , or on the savagery of its leaders and army of killers. Had we anything to tell the Israelis, it would be to blame Israel's security services for what we maintain is Israel's and America's role in the murder of politicians, all in an effort to destabilize the country more and more, since the Israeli debacle in the summer war of 2006, which Israel lost.

الوزير السابق ايلي حبيقة ليس لبنانياً لضم جريمة إغتياله الى المحكمة الدولية؟ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ميشال شيحا: راصد المشروع الصهيوني 8 شباط 2008 ميشال اده - عندما غيّب الموت ميشال شيحا في 29 كانون الأول 1954 عن عمر 63 سنة، بدا لبنان وكأنه أصيب بجرح عميق. واللبنانيون ما زالوا يفتقدون الى اليوم الحضور اللامع لذلك الرجل المجلي: المثقف، المفكر، الشاعر، الصحافي، السياسي، المصرفي المرموق في عالم المال والاقتصاد، والمسيحي المؤمن المفعم بنبل إنساني نادر. ولد ميشال شيحا في بلدة بمكين بلبنان عام ,1891 وكان تلميذا باهر التحصيل والنجاح في جامعة القديس يوسف اليسوعية. أما اهتمامه المبكر بأحوال بلاده وبمسائل الشأن العام فأجبره في العام 1915 على اللجوء الى القاهرة بمصر، هربا من الاضطهاد العثماني، ليعود الى وطنه عام 1919 بعد أن تحرر لبنان من نير الامبراطورية العثمانية، وانتقل الى وصاية الانتداب الفرنسي، فيما انتقلت جارته فلسطين الى وصاية الانتداب الانكليزي.
وسط هذه الظروف تحديدا، كان يتعين صوغ لبنان دولة مستقلة حديثة. كان ثمة حاجة ماسة لإعادة تفكر لبنان في سياق تشكله الجديد. وأحسب، هنا، أن أول وأهم من انتبه، ونهض، الى هذه المهمة التاريخية الطابع، كان ميشال شيحا. وهذا في الوقت ذاته الذي بدأت تشهد فلسطين ظواهر قلق وتوجس، وبداية اضطرابات آخذة بالتنامي، وذلك بعد صدور وعد بلفور عام 1917 الداعي الى إنشاء «مقطن قومي لليهود» في فلسطين، استجابة لضغوطات «المنظمة الصهيونية العالمية». وبالتزامن مع تزايد التحرك العلني للمشروع الصهيوني في فلسطين، كان على ميشال شيحا أن ينكبّ على مهمته اللبنانية الأساس، انما أيضا في مواجهة ما بدأ يجري التداول به في أوساط لبنانية محدودة تروج لإنشاء «وطن قومي مسيحي» في لبنان. إذّاك استشعر شيحا الخطر الذي سوف يتهدد لبنان أيضا وبالتأكيد، اذا ما قيض النجاح لمشروع يسعى للقضاء على الطابع الأساسي لفلسطين المعروفة بتنوعها الديني المسيحي الإسلامي اليهودي، واستبداله بأحادية دينية عرقية. ولعله أدرك أن تحصين لبنان ضد ذلك الخطر انما يكون من طريق تكريس قيام الدولة فيه على أساس خصوصية لبنان، وهو الذي كان من الرواد الأوائل المنتبهين الى هذه الخصوصية.
الأغلبية الساحقة من اللبنانيين، والمسيحيون منهم تحديدا، سارعوا الى رفض مشروع «الوطن القومي المسيحي» بصورة صريحة قاطعة، إذ وجدوا في ذلك تناقضا في الجوهر مع لبنان ذاته باعتباره بيئة مجتمعية تكونت، بصورة تلقائية، على أساس مجموعات غير متجانسة دينيا ومذهبيا، لكنها ارتضت معا صيغة عيش مشترك في ما بينها على أساس التنوع لا الأحادية.
أما ميشال شيحا فكان عليه أن يصوغ الترجمة الملموسة لهذه الخصوصية ويثبتها في دستور الدولة اللبنانية، ولا سيما حين اختير عضواً في اللجنة البرلمانية المكلفة بإعداد هذا الدستور، بعدما أصبح نائبا عن بيروت في انتخابات .1925
وهذا ما قام به فعلا. لم يكن مجرد عضو في تلك اللجنة، بل هو من صاغ بقلمه الدستور اللبناني الصادر عام ,1926 واعتبر بحق فيلسوف الصيغة اللبنانية.
في تلك الأثناء، وبموازاة تطور لبنان السياسي وصولا الى استقلاله التام عام ,1943 كانت الأوضاع في فلسطين تنحو منحى التأزم أكثر فأكثر. وهذا بخاصة، مع تزايد الهجرة اليهودية الى فلسطين، وتنامي حجم وعدد المستوطنات التي كانت قد راحت تزرع في أرضها. وكانت هذه التبدلات البنيوية الطابع تجري، بالطبع، على إيقاع المشروع الصهيوني الذي كان ينجح، باسم إيجاد «حل للمسألة اليهودية»، في اجتذاب تعاطف أوساط غربية واسعة.
بدأ اليهود يطالبون بدولة لهم. وهو ما استثار طبعا، وبالمقابل، رفض الفلسطينيين وسائر البلدان العربية. ومع تصاعد الحديث والعمل على إنشاء هذه الدولة من خلال تقسيم فلسطين، ازداد استشعار الخطر لدى ميشال شيحا على الاثنين معا: فلسطين ولبنان. فتقسيم فلسطين على أساس ديني وعرقي، سوف يصيب مقتلا في فلسطين بما هي بيئة تنوع ديني وانفتاح وتعدد ثقافي. مثلما سوف يتهدد لبنان أيضا، البيئة الأولى المتميزة بالتنوع والتعدد والانفتاح.
من هذه الزاوية بخاصة، وجد ميشال شيحا نفسه مندفعا الى تكريس السنوات العشر الأخيرة من حياته لمعالجة القضية الفلسطينية. ولقد تجلى ذلك في النصوص التي تصدر اليوم بالانكليزية للمرة الأولى، وترقى الى الفترة الممتدة ما بين 1944 و.1954 أي منذ ما قبل قيام دولة اسرائيل بأربع سنوات، والى ما بعد قيامها بست سنوات، وفيها انكب على استقراء الحقائق التي ينطوي عليها المشروع الصهيوني في استهدافه فلسطين. ثم على التحذير من تداعياته المدمرة التي جزم ميشال شيحا بأنها سوف تتجاوز جغرافية فلسطين لتزعزع أرض المعمورة بأسرها على حد تأكيده في 5 كانون الأول 1947:
«قرار تقسيم فلسطين بخلق الدولة اليهودية من أعظم الأخطاء erreurs التي اجترحتها السياسة المعاصرة. فلسوف تستتبع هذا الأمر، وان بدا يسيرا، أعجب العواقب. ولا نكون قد امتهنا العقل ان قلنا ان هذه القضية الضئيلة ستعمل على زعزعة الأرض من أساسها».
ولقد أثبتت وقائع الستين سنة المنصرمة صحة ما ذهب اليه ميشال شيحا عندما أكد أن المشروع الصهيوني سوف لن يعجز فقط عن حل «المسألة اليهودية»، بل سوف يتسبب، في الوقت عينه، بخلق مشكلة اخرى عالمية الأبعاد، هي القضية الفلسطينية.
لقد نبه ميشال شيحا منذ البداية الى «أن المغامرة اليهودية العرقية القائمة على الدين» في فلسطين، سوف تؤدي الى الوقوع في شر ما أسماه حرفيا «حروب الأديان التي لم تتخذ أبدا، بحسب قوله، شكلا آخر، انها لم تبدأ مطلقا بكيفية مختلفة» (مقالة في 15 كانون الثاني 1948).
أوليس بعض جوانب ما يجري الحديث عنه راهنا بشأن ما يسمى صدام الحضارات المزعوم فيما المقصود الجوهري به حروب الأديان، هو من نتاج ما غرسه غلاة التطرف الصهيوني منذ البدايات الأولى للمأساة في فلسطين؟
لقد نفذ ميشال شيحا، برؤيته الاستشرافية الثاقبة، الى أن يتوقع ويكتب حرفيا في 15 حزيران ,1944 أي منذ 64 سنة: «أما يخشى هؤلاء الذين يدافعون عن الماضي السحيق أن يفقدوا في هذه المغامرة أسمى مناقبهم فيجيء الرعيل الثاني ـ إن تعذر على الأول ـ أو الرعيل الثالث ان تقصينا، شبيها بإسرائيل العتيقة الراقدة البائدة، اسرائيل القديمة المتعبة المنهكة؟».
على هذه الحقائق الاسرائيلية المفجعة التي تنبأ بها ميشال شيحا، يشهد اليوم شاهد من أهل اسرائيل بالذات. ان إبراهام بورغ، النائب العمالي الذي تولى رئاسة الكنيست من 1999 حتى ,2003 وفي مقال نشره في 11 أيلول 2003 في جريدتي «الموند» الفرنسية، وفي «الواشنطن بوست» الاميركية، ينعى الصهيونية بادئا مقاله بالحرف: «الصهيونية ماتت، والمعتدون عليها يتربعون على مقاعد الحكومة في أورشليم.. الأمة الاسرائيلية لم تعد اليوم سوى ركام بشع من الفساد، والاضطهاد، والظلم. نهاية المغامرة الصهيونية باتت على أبوابنا... لقد انتهينا الى دولة من المستوطنات تديرها عصبة من الفاسدين... وبدأ العد التنازلي للمجتمع الاسرائيلي».
أبراهام بورغ، في هذا المقال ذاته، طالب رئيس الحكومة الاسرائيلية آنذاك (2003) آرييل شارون، بأنه «يجب عليه أن يطرح عليهم الخيارات بوضوح: العنصرية اليهودية ام الديموقراطية؟ المستوطنات ام الأمل بالنسبة للشعبين: (الاسرائيلي والفلسطيني)؟ الرؤى الكاذبة للأسلاك الشائكة أم الحدود المعترف بها دوليا لدولتين مستقلتين تتخذان من القدس عاصمة مشتركة؟».
غير أن أولي الأمر من غلاة التطرف الصهيوني ما كان لهم أن يروا هذا الرأي وللأسف. لقد تمسكوا دائما بما أسماه ميشال شيحا، في مكان آخر، بـ«بسط سيطرتهم الأحادية».
حيوية فكر ميشال شيحا، بروحيته الإنسانية الصرف، حملته، بعد قيام اسرائيل، على المبادرة الى تبصر الأسس التي يتعين أن يبنى عليها السلام مع اسرائيل. وفي هذا السياق، تراه يعلن في 1952: «نحن نعتبر وجود اسرائيل أمرا واقعا، وليس في النية أن يطرح الاسرائيليون في البحر». أما ريادته فتتمثل هنا باعتبار المشكلة مع اسرائيل انما هي مسألة حدود لا مسألة وجود. ونظرا لكون المشروع الصهيوني المتطرف يرفض رسم حدود لهذه الدولة التي يعمل على توسعها باستمرار، كان إصرار ميشال شيحا على أن يبنى الصلح مع اسرائيل على أساس حدود ثابتة. وعودة اللاجئين الى ديارهم. وقيام دولة فلسطينية مستقلة، وليس كيانا ملحقا بالأردن. وإنقاذ القدس من التهويد بتدويلها.
من زاوية لبنان، استقرأ أبعاد التراجيديا المتصاعدة في فلسطين ومنها. وهذا ما منحه ـ على ما أحسب ـ قدرة متميزة فائقة باكرة على تحليل طبيعة المشروع الصهيوني في أوج اندفاعاته التأسيسية، وعلى تحديد مكامن الخطر الكارثي الذي يعتمل داخله، متوقعا أن يزعزع بدماره اللاحق بلدان المنطقة والعالم، اذا لم يعمل على لجمه وإيقافه.
لبنان نفسه أغرق، بعد التقسيم، بأفواج من اللاجئين الفلسطينيين فاقت آنذاك عشرة بالمئة من سكانه. وتحولت مشكلة اللاجئين في ربوعه الى مشكلة داخلية بالغة التعقيد، والمخاطر الديموغرافية والأمنية والاقتصادية والمجتمعية على تركيبته وكيانه ودولته.
لقد وضعت اسرائيل لبنان منذ البدء هدفا دائما أمامها للقضاء عليه. ليس فقط بسبب أطماعها المعلنة في أرضه ومياهه. بل كذلك وأساسا لكون صيغته بالتنوع الديني تفضح أحاديتها الدينية والعرقية. فلقد اعتبرت اسرائيل ـ وما تزال ـ ان قضاءها على لبنان بصيغته هذه، حاجة ماسة بالنسبة اليها كي تبرهن أمام العالم استحالة قيام واستمرار دولة متنوعة الأديان في هذه المنطقة.
عندما يكون ولاة الأمر في اسرائيل مولعين بالماضي السحيق الى حد الهوس، وهم من أسماهم شيحا Les tenants du passé، ويعلنون صراحة ان مشروعهم لا يكتفي أصلا بفلسطين، فإن هذه الأصولية التي تدعي انتسابها الى اليهودية أو ناطقة باسمها، انما تشكل الأساس الممهد، والمستدرج، لأصوليات مقابلة سوف تدعي بدورها الانتساب الى الإسلام أو ناطقة باسمه. هنا، تصبح جغرافية العالم بأسره مسرحا لما سوف يسمى بالإرهاب، الذي «يزعزع الأرض من أساسها»، على حد توصيف ميشال شيحا الذي أشرت اليه آنفا.
بالرغم من أن اسرائيل احتلت كامل أرض فلسطين، وأراضيَ عربية أخرى، بحروبها العدوانية، فهي قد فشلت في الإجهاز على الشعب الفلسطيني وعلى القضية الفلسطينية. كما أنها لم تتمكن من إرغام العرب على الاستسلام لها والتسليم بهيمنتها على مصائر البلدان العربية.
تاريخ اسرائيل بهذا المعنى هو تاريخ رفضها المنهجي القاطع لحل سلمي عادل للصراع الفلسطيني العربي ـ الاسرائيلي، وإجهاضها المستمر لأي مبادرة أو خطة تطرح مدخلا لحلول محتملة. وهذا منذ إعلان دولة اسرائيل حتى اليوم.
ففي العام 1952 تقدم صحافيان غربيان، أحدهما انكليزي والآخر أميركي، بسؤال الى رئيس دولة اسرائيل آنذاك حاييم وايزمان: كيف تتصور حلا للقضية الفلسطينية؟ ففكر قليلا وأجاب: «هناك قضايا لا حل لها. إنها تشيخ وتبلى شيئا فشيئا».

Ils vieillissent seulement في سياق هذه السياسة الاستراتيجية، تابعت اسرائيل تنفيذ مخططها بالقضاء على منظمة «فتح» بصفتها حركة تحرر وطني علمانية. وهذا بهدف تصفية الشعب الفلسطيني وقضيته الوطنية معا. أما بعد اندلاع الانتفاضة الفلسطينية الأولى في ,1987 وبروز حركة إسلامية متدينة مناوئة «لفتح» وهي «حركة حماس»، ظنت اسرائيل أن تغاضيها عن هذه الحركة الجديدة يخدم هدفها بالإجهاز على «فتح» وتشويه الطابع التحرري العلماني للمقاومة الفلسطينية، وصبغها بطابع ديني يضفي عليها طابع حرب دينية يشنها الإسلام على اليهودية. الأمر الذي من شأنه، في ظن اسرائيل، أن يستقطب عطف وتأييد الغرب والبلدان المسيحية، والقضاء تاليا على المقاومة الفلسطينية بما هي حركة تحرر وطني.
لكن اسرائيل خاب ظنها، بعدما تبين أن «حماس» ذاتها هي بدورها حركة تحرر وطني فلسطينية، إنما متدينة. عندها التفتت اسرائيل الى شن حرب تصفية شاملة على «حماس» وعلى الشعب الفلسطيني بأسره. بهذه السياسة الكارثية، شرعت اسرائيل الأبواب الواسعة أمام دخول الارهاب الأممي العدمي الى حلبة الصراع، ونموذجه الأمثل «تنظيم القاعدة».
فبدل أن تتمكن اسرائيل من تحقيق خطتها بزج الشعب الفلسطيني في أتون اليأس والإحباط وإرغامه على الاستسلام، بما يجهز نهائيا على القضية الفلسطينية، اذا بها تكره هذا الشعب بأكمله، وتدفع به دفعا الى أن يكون فريسة ذلك الإرهاب الأممي الفالت من عقاله.
هذا التنكيل المنهجي بالشعب الفلسطيني دونما رادع يلجمه، كان من شأنه أن يستثير كذلك ويستولد حكما في البلدان الإسلامية قاطبة، ردود الفعل السلبية والغاضبة تجاه بلدان الغرب بعامة، واعتبار هذه البلدان مسؤولة بدورها عن اسرائيل بإبادة الشعب الفلسطيني، وهو ما بدأ يجعل هذه البلدان أرضا خصبة لتفشي الإرهاب في ربوعها.
وبدل أن كانت رقعة الصراع وقفا على الأرض الفلسطينية، اذا بحلبته تتوسع بفعل تفشي الارهاب لتصبح جغرافية العالم ببلدانه كافة مسرحا للتدمير الارهابي. وهكذا تكون اسرائيل قد تسببت بتعميم ظاهرة الارهاب وتجذيره، ومفاقمته نوعيا، بأكثر فأكثر. ذلك أن أخطر ما في الإرهاب قدرته على أن يصبح ثقافة سائدة، ونمط حياة سائدا، وليس مجرد استراتيجية في العمل السياسي، لحزب أو لتيار معين وحسب.
فهل من حل في مواجهة هذه الوضعية المدمرة؟
الوضع الاسرائيلي عاجز عن أن يوفر، بآليات إسرائيلية ذاتية، موقفا سلميا أو حلا سلميا مقبولا ينقذ حتى اسرائيل ذاتها من تأزمها الكياني المتفاقم الذي لم يسبق أن واجهت مثيلا له من قبل.
فالاستقرار السياسي الذي كانت اسرائيل تنعم به على مدى 29 سنة منذ 1948 وحتى العام ,1977 في ظل حكم «حزب العمل»، أخذ يهتز ويتخلخل تدريجيا. كما ان مرحلة الاستقرار الثانية التي دامت 15 سنة، في ظل حكم الليكود منذ 1977 وحتى ,1992 انتهت بدورها مع سقوط حكومة يتحساق شامير. ومنذ اذ ذاك وقعت اسرائيل في مرحلة من الاضطراب السياسي المتواتر والمستمر منذ العام 1995 اثر اغتيال يتسحاق رابين، وحتى يومنا هذا.
كل الحكومات الاسرائيلية المتعاقبة لم تتمكن من إكمال سنوات ولايتها الدستورية. فلقد سقطت على التوالي حكومة شيمون بيريز، وبنيامين نتنياهو، وإيهود باراك، وحكومة شارون الأولى التي لم تصمد سوى سنتين، ثم حكومته الثانية التي لم تكمل ولايتها اثر إصابته بعارض صحي خطير. فخلفه إيهود أولمرت الذي تتعرض حكومته باستمرار لاهتزازات سياسية كبرى.
في هذه الفترة الممتدة طيلة 12 سنة، شهدت اسرائيل أربعة انتخابات نيابية مبكرة، وهو ما يدل على حالة من اللا استقرار العضوي.
ظاهرة اللا استقرار السياسي هذه إنما ترد بجزء أساسي منها الى تداعيات النظام الانتخابي الاسرائيلي المبني على التمثيل النسبي المطلق، الذي يسمح بتمثيل مجموعات صغيرة جدا في الكنيست من أقصى اليمين الى أقصى اليسار، بما يحول دون تكوين أكثرية متجانسة ثابتة يمكنها أن تحكم اسرائيل وان تتخذ القرارات في المسائل المصيرية، لا سيما بشأن عملية السلام بخاصة. أما بالنسبة للولايات المتحدة الاميركية، فلقد أثبتت الوقائع أن نفوذ اللوبي الصهيوني يتسبب الى حد بعيد بتعطيل أي دور بناء لهذه الدولة الكبرى.
ولنتذكر أن معظم الرؤساء الأميركيين الذين مالوا في ولايتهم الأولى الى بذل الجهود لمعالجة قضايا الصراع العربي الاسرائيلي، إنما كانوا يحاربون من قبل اللوبي الصهيوني. فالرئيس نيكسون لم يكمل ولايته الثانية، بعد أن أوقع في فخ «ووترغيت». والرئيس كارتر فشل في النجاح لولاية ثانية، كما هو حال الرئيس بوش الأب بعد دعمه مؤتمر مدريد في .1991 أما الرئيسان كلينتون وبوش الابن فلم يبد أي منهما اهتماما جديا بإيجاد حل للقضية الفلسطينية إلا من خلال السنة الرابعة من الولاية الثانية لكل منهما. وهو ما لا يؤدي بالتأكيد الى أي نتيجة ملموسة.
أما العرب، من جهتهم، فقد قدموا الحل. فللمرة الأولى في تاريخ الصراع العربي الاسرائيلي، تعلن الدول العربية جميعها من دون استثناء، في قمة بيروت 2002 ثم في قمة الرياض ,2007 استعدادها التام للاعتراف بإسرائيل، وللتعايش الآمن معها وفق سلام دائم عادل شامل تنعم به جميع دول المنطقة بما فيها اسرائيل ذاتها، انما على أساس قيام دولة فلسطينية مستقلة قابلة للحياة بعاصمتها القدس العربية. وبانسحاب اسرائيل من كل الأراضي العربية المحتلة، وحل مأساة اللاجئين الفلسطينيين بعودتهم الى الدولة الفلسطينية العتيدة.
لقد احتفلت الأمم المتحدة منذ سنوات قليلة بدخول عضو جديد الى جمعيتها العامة وهي Nauru التي لا تتجاوز مساحتها 21 كلم2 فقط لا غير. ولا يتجاوز عدد سكانها /7000/ نسمة.
أما الشعب الفلسطيني العريق. والذي يفوق عدده تسعة ملايين في الضفة وقطاع غزة ومخيمات الأردن ولبنان وسوريا والدول العربية الأخرى، فمحــروم من أرض ودولة وهوية. أي هو غير موجود عمليا، ويفتقر الى وضع قانوني طبيعي. فكيف يوفق الغـرب، بدوله الكبرى صاحبة القرار بخاصة، وبأوساطه ونخبه ومواطنيه كافة. بين قيم الحرية والديموقراطية والعدالة والشرعية الدولية، وبين السكوت المريب عن هذا الظلم المروع؟ عن قتل شعب وإعدامه وشطبه من الوجود؟
بإزاء قساوة الظروف الراهنة وما تظهره من انسداد أفق أمام أي حل للقضية الفلسطينية، يرتدي صدور هذا الكتاب اليوم باللغة الانكليزية أهمية استثنائية. ذلك ان الرؤية الاستشرافية التي تميزت بها كتابات ميشال شيحا قبل 65 عاما عن فلسطين، انما ترتسم اليوم بكل وقائعها الكارثية. غير ان الطابع الاستثنائي لهذا الكتاب انما يتجلى كذلك بصدوره في مهد الديموقراطية الأول، المملكة المتحدة، التي يؤكد تراثها العريق والمعاصر تأبّيه كل اضطهاد وظلم.
مثلما انه لا يعقل أبدا، من جهة أخرى، ان تشوه قيم اليهودية من قبل من يدعي ممارسة الاضطهاد باسمها، وهي التي عانى شعبها اليهودي أصلا من الاضطهاد والتنكيل على مدى التاريخ. واسمحوا لي أن أستذكر هنا أحد الحاخامات أيام تعرض اليهود للاضطهاد في بولونيا وروسيا في القرن السابع عشر، عندما قال: «اللهم ليكن مصيري مصير المضطهدين وليس المضطهِدين».

ولم ينسَ أحد كيف تصرف المسؤولون مع عملية أغتيال الوزير السابق ايلي حبيقة; شهيدنا البطل، عميد الشهداء وعريس بسكنتا, الرئيس الشهيد إيلي حبيقة; أمام منزله في الحازمية في 24 كانون الثاني 2002 وكأن شيئاً لم يحصل. وهذا ما يدفع رفاق حبيقة الى طرح السؤال، لماذا لم تلقَ قضية الإغتيال هذه إهتماماً من الحكومات المتعاقبة منذ حصول الجريمة وحتى اليوم؟
متوهمون هؤلاء الجبناء والمجرمون والقتلة ....
متوهمون لأنهم يعتقدون بأن الدماء الطاهرة التي يسفكونها إنتقاماً وحقداً أو تآمراً على لبنان ستخرس الأصوات وتهمش الوطن وتجعله ألعوبة شرق أوسطية جديدة تغرق في دوامة العنف والإرهاب واللإنسانية ....

التاريخ الرسمي لبداية الأزمة في لبنان هو الإغتيالات التي أنطلقت بقتل الرئيس الشهيد إيلي حبيقة في 24/01/2002: رحم الله إيلي حبيقة: حبيقة كان مبدعا في حياته وسيظل حاضرا في غيابه, في وجهها الأول، والتمديد للرئيس لحود في وجهها الثاني، ولمدة ثلاث سنوات بدءاً من 23/11/.2004 وكانت هذه هي بداية الصراع المعلن الدولي - الإقليمي. وكان 14 شباط 2005 مع اغتيال الرئيس الشهيد رفيق الحريري ورفاقه هو تاريخ بداية المد الدولي وحلفائه في لبنان، والانحسار الإقليمي وحلفائه في لبنان. وسُجلت موجة الاغتيالات والتفجيرات عن صواب أو خطأ على الجانب الإقليمي في محاولة مزعومة منه لتعديل ميزان القوى. وجاءت حرب تموز لتحقق عكس الغاية المنشودة منها وتعطي دفعاً قوياً لقوى الممانعة محلياً وإقليمياً. واستمر الصراع على السطح بين طرفي النزاع عبر تسجيل النقاط مرة لهذا الفريق وأخرى لذاك دون القدرة على الحسم لأي منهما، فيما كانت تحدث تحولات في الطبقات السفلى من الصراع الإقليمي - الدولي. وكان من مظاهره ظهور حدود، في الآونة الأخيرة، رسمتها القوى الدولية لنفسها ولا تريد أن تتخطاها في التأييد المعلن للفريق الحاكم في لبنان.
.مشاهد ناقصة.... 24 كانون الثاني 2002 لاحظ اللبنانيون ان بكركي، خلال الاحتفالات الدينية، لم تشهد ما شهدته من الحشود السياسية خلال معركة الانتخابات الفرعية في المتن الشمالي،وخصوصاً ذلك الحشد النسائي اللامألوف الذي جمع حول غبطة البطريرك كل سيدات المجتمع المسيحي السياسي للفريق السلطوي. فهل ان المقعد النيابي في المتن الشمالي أهم من ولادة المخلّص؟ ***
رأى النائب السابق نسيب لحود أن الجنرال ميشال عون يخطئ كثيراً عندما يطالب البطريرك صفير بعدم التدخل السياسي بينما هو حليف لرجل ديني آخر هو السيد حسن نصرالله. واستهجن لحود قيام ورقة تفاهم بين التيار الوطني الحر و"حزب الله" الديني. أولاً: البطريرك الماروني هو لكل الموارنة وليس لموارنة السلطة فحسب. ثانياً: نسيب لحود نفسه كان حليفاً ل"حزب الله" في انتخابات 2005. ثالثاً: نسيب لحود لم يقرأ ورقة التفاهم التي نادت بالنظام المدني في لبنان. وهذه المناداة هي الأهم في ورقة التفاهم التاريخية بين التيار الوطني الحر وحزب الله.
*** الاستنفار السياسي العام الذي أعلنه الفريق السلطوي منذ ليلة عيد الميلاد وإلى اشعار آخر على خلفية حديث الجنرال ميشال عون عن بكركي كمرجعية روحية ووطنية، ومهلة الايام العشرة التي اطلقها السيّد حسن نصرالله، لم يكن دفاعاً عن "الثوابت الوطنية" وانما كان دفاعاً عن السياسة الأميركية في لبنان. وقد ظهر فؤاد السنيورة في هذا الاستنفار، خائفاً على صلاحيات دستورية ليست له، وعلى مشاريع وقرارات اتخذتها حكومته لا خير فيها للبنان. ردّ السنيورة على حديث السيّد حسن نصرالله كان عبثياً أكثر من القصيدة الحداثية وأكثر من موازناته المالية وترتيباته الخاضعة بالمديونية العامة. ***
سمير جعجع يتابع في " جامعة معراب" دروسه الخاصة في العلوم السياسية والأمنية على يد الاختصاصي الكبير جيفري فيلتمان. فبعد حديث السيّد حسن نصرالله عن "مهلة الأيام العشرة"، صعد جيفري فيلتمان الى معراب حيث قضى ساعتين مع جعجع ... وبعد هذه الجلسة، فلت لسان جعجع على كل من هو معارض ومحايد وصامت. وظهر جعجع أنه لا يريد انتخابات رئاسية بقدر ما يريد ابقاء وزيره السياحي جو سركيس في خدمة السنيورة وفيلتمان للمحافظة – كما قال – على "الحد الأدنى من السطة". لا شيء يفرح قلب رجل معراب مثل مشهد الانقسامات وانهيار مؤسسات الدولة ... انها الطبيعة الميليشيوية الأصيلة. *** وليد جنبلاط اختار أن يكون "جثة هامدة" في وسط الطريق على أن يُعطي المعارضة الثلث الضامن في الحكومة المقبلة كما لو أن "الثلث الضامن" هو عقار ورثه عن جدّه لأبيه ... عقار جنبلاطي خاص. وتحدّث جنبلاط عن "المعارضة المدجّجة بالسلاح" خالطاً بين المعارضة السياسية السلمية الحضارية والمقاومة المسلّحة التي لها شهداؤها الأبرار في ساحات الشرف والتحرير. هل ان المعارضة هي من استعملت السلاح في 21 كانون الثاني 2007؟ هل ان المعارضة هي من قتلت تقنيصاً الطلاب في جامعة بيروت العربية ومحيطها؟ هل ان المعارضة هي من تمسك بالأجهزة الأمنية وتوجهها كما تشاء؟ هل ان المعارضة هي من تمسك بالقضاء وتعمل على طمر ملفات "فتح الاسلام" والاغتيالات والتفجيرات وكل ألوان التخريب والفساد؟ *** المطران بشارة الراعي زار بنشعي فإستبقاه الوزير السابق سليمان فرنجية الى مائدته ... ألف صحة وصحتين. مائدة بنشعي ليست فقط نبيذاً وطبخاً وفاكهة وحلويات وقهوة، بل هي أيضاَ "ملاحظات وتوجيهات ومسلكيات... بدون الوزير فرنجية تبقى المعارضة ناقصة مثل حكومة السنيورة. وقد استدرك المطران الراعي أهمية بنشعي الوطنية والسياسية فكانت ضمن "جولته التصالحية" التي بدأها بالرابية. "ما حكّ جلدك مثل ظفرك". فهل بدأ صاحب السيادة ب "الحكّ" الصحيح؟
*** ثمة من يسمّي حكومة السنيورة ب "حكومة بكركي الموقّرة". ولهذه التسمية مبررات ... فالثلث الوازن لرئيس الجمهورية اشتراه شيخ قريطم أو على الأقل تعسكر في قريطم ضد بعبدا. وهذا وحده كان كافياً لاسقاط الحكومة لأن التوازن الوطني فيها قد اختلّ جذرياً فيما لم تكن المعارضة ممثلة فيها على الاطلاق. بانتقال الثلث الوازن الى أحضان قريطم، فقد رئيس الجمهورية اهم صلاحياته الدستورية بل أصبح بلا صلاحيات. ومع ذلك لم تأخذ بكركي الموقف الحاسم من الخلل الكبير والخطير الذي ضرب كيان النظام عمودياً وأفقياً. موقف بكركي المانع من هذا الموضوع أدّى الى تهاون دولي واضح مع المسألة والى تصلب من جانب الفريق السلطوي وكما قيل قبل 17 عاماً لولا بكركي لما كان مرّ اتفاق الطائف، قيل عام 2007 : لولا بكركي لما استمرت الحكومة غير الميثاقية. *** قال الوزير السابق وئام وهاب ان جماهير المعارضة كانت ستقتحم السراي الحكومي، لكن السيّد حسن نصرالله رفض الفكرة من اساسها. اذن، عدم اقتحام السرايا الحكومي لم يكن سببه "وعوداً دسمة" من قبل السلطة ولا "تسويات تحاصصية". فالمعارضة الوطنية تناضل دفاعاً عن ثوابت وطنية وحقوق طبيعية ومكتسبة اغتصبها الفريق السلطوي، وعن عدم استباحة لبنان للمشروع الأميركي الذي مختصره : التوطين الفلسطيني والاستيلاء على أهم مرافق الدخل القومي اللبناني. سؤال...
هل تستطيع عائلة متوسطة الحجم ان تعيش بربطة خبز واحدة من سبعة أرغفة أم بربطة خبز من تسعة أرغفة ولكن بألفي ليرة؟
هل يستطيع الموظف الفقير ان يدفع ثمن صفيحة البنزين البالغ 25 الفا وهو مسـتمر بالارتفاع، وماذا يتبقى من راتبه الذي لا يتعدى الحد الادنى والمحدد بـ 300 الف ليرة؟
هل يستطيع المواطن اللبناني الاستمرار بدفع الفواتير مرتين، مرة للكهرباء ومرة للمولدات، ومرة لمياه الشرب ومرة لمياه الحاجيات المنزلية؟
والسؤال، كيف سيعيش المواطن اذا لم تعمل الحكومة وبسرعة فائقة على انشاء «غرفة انعاش اجتماعي» لوضع المواطنين الذين لا يستطيعون العيش في بلدهم بكرامة ومرفوعي الرأس؟

"The politics of sectarianism in Lebanon are doomed to fail. " Simply because sectarianism divides the country among itself, weakens it, and allows foreigners to take it over. Understandings among various Lebanese sectarian groups, like the opposition and Hizbullah, are what the US/Israeli machinations are after to Destroy. The problem with the solution that the Party of Rafic Hariri choose to continue after his assignation is the path of nepotism, by having his son take over, which I do not and cannot support. This is as bad as the rule of Jumblatts, Gemayels, EDDEs, Arslans, Frangiehs, Murrs, Assads, etc. etc. now and of All parties there. If they are modern and true, then they should have a leader who is qualified, not nepotism. I feel that nepotism approach will keep that part of the world backward. All yes people, do not move a company, people, or country forward --free market and constitution that is free of religious control does... The worst part is that the so-called "elites" do not move a finger and do not criticize openly this situation. The "Elites" are blinded by their own acceptance by these "sectarian Bigots" and are all dependant on their favors, links or otherwise, their treachery.... So generosity and concern is not their motive. As I have said before, the function of right-wing hate radio has been to pump up the adrenalin, to get out the hate vote. The function of the mainstream media is to pump out sedatives to keep everyone calm, so there isn't a civil war breaking out. You cannot paper over your problems, forever. Either you deal with them, or they fester until they burst out to such degree that you cannot hide them, anymore. In this climate, the "church's" attitudes are not really "natural"- they are a calculated reaction against the hate that is flowing from Lebanon's churches. They have been getting away with their poisonous attitudes, enjoying respectability in the biased media and pampering from ambitious traitors/politicians....It is obvious. The West is trying to divide every Arab/Muslim country along religious lines to ignite deep hatreds among the population, divide them and enslave them. Secular parties, more uniting than religious parties, have been the object of destruction by the West. You may have read about "Kawmi Souri". Lebanon just about killed or imprisoned every member. I don't know the whereabouts of "Kawmi Arabie" and that is a secular party I don't hear about. You are aware that Iraq was ruled by "Baath Party" and Syria is ruled by "Baath Party." The United States of America and Israel are determined to kill this secular organization. So you can see that secular organizations based on convincing people of the legitimacy of their claims have been the target of destruction. Islam comes in handy to resist against colonization and occupation and expropriation. Islam is rooted deeply in the psyche of Arabs and Muslims and the Koran directs Muslims to resist aggressors and perpetrators. So Hezbollah is a natural phenomenon.
Hezbollah is a defense system against imperialism and Zionism although on the surface it looks like a religious party. Religion is only the tool to recruit defenders against imperialism and Zionism. السيدات و الساده الكرام الوطن ليس قطعة ارض نتنازع عليها لنبني لانفسنا فيها قصوراً و حولنا الملايين من الجياع و العطاشى و المشردين ... الوطن ليس شركة مساهمة يتشارك فيها بضع عائلات يعتبرون ان دمهم من الدم الازرق الذي يميزهم و يعطيهم الحق لاستعباد من تبقى من البشر ... الوطن ليس اكذوبة و وهم كما يدعي هؤلاء السادة ... الوطن يصبح وطناً عندما تصان فيه الديموقراطيه ويحافظ فيه على حقوق الانسان ويصان و يحترم فيه الدستور ... الوطن ليس مضغ و هضم ما يسمى بالميثاق الذي لم يعطي شعب لبنان اي حق ليصبح لهم حق الحياة و حق الوجود ... الوطن اي قطعة الارض تلك التي نؤكد و نصر بان نسميها وطناً و نحافظ عليها بحدقات اعيننا يجب ان تحافظ على كرا متنا كبشر و الاّ فما معنى تلك البقعة من الارض التي لم تعطينا الحق ان نتمتع باللآدمية و حقوقها ... الحقيقة تقال و الساكت عن الحق شيطان اخرس الحقيقة تجرح و تحزن لانها امنية جراح المحب و غاشة قبلات العدو , الحقيقة و الوهم مضادان فالذي يعيش على الوهم ينسلخ عن الواقع و يدافع عن الباطل فيؤذي نفسه و جاره و كل وطنه فتنهشه الاكاذيب و الاباطيل و يمتلكه التعصب الفئوي الارعن و الاعمى ... فتصم الاذان و تتسلط الالسنة و تسوّد القلوب و يندمج الحقد مع العصبية فتثور الانفس وينتصر الباطل فتكثر الخطيئة و يزاد الشقاق و النفاق , و تعم مساوئ الاخلاق فأذا بالوطن يصبح قطعة نار ملتهب ينفخ فيها و يؤججها زبانية الحقد و التعصب و المذهبيات ... وتبدأ المراهنة ايهزم محور ايران سوريا ؟ ام محور السعودية و مصر ؟ ام محور الاعتدال الاسلامي ؟ ام الامريكي الاوروبي ؟

Always dressed in perfect clothes, his bright colors dazzle and shine in the Lebanon sun. What a sight this man is to behold! The experiences, heartbreaks, loves, joys, and victories of forty six years of living, all combine into one fascinating embodiment within him, a Heroes' Hero and the greatest man ever.
